In Marina di Altidona there are lots of campsites and vacation villages by the sea, ideal to spend seaside vacations including nature and historical monuments!
Marina di Altidona is a town dating back to about 150,000 years ago, inhabited by the Pelagsi and the Piceni until the arrival of the Romans in 485 B.C.
Today it is possible to visit the well-kept medieval walls of the Castle, the watchtower, called Belvedere, which offers a beautiful view, and the table depicting the Madonna and Child. We also recommend a visit to Villa Montana and the Roman cistern.
Lovers of nature can visit the Parco dei Due Ponti which houses precious old trees and playgrounds with rides for children. You can also get there by bike through the cycle path that leads directly from the beach to the park.
